Aberdeen Influencer Deng-Foundation to continue partnership with Clinton Foundation as “Commitment Maker” at Annual Meeting
Aberdeen, SD August 6, 2018, For Immediate Release
The CF and Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) actively seeks and joins forces with "Commitment Makers", those who have demonstrated a clear passion for change while developing a clear and measurable commitment to action.
The Deng-Foundation has lived up to this definition with its mission to bring an end to Malaria in South Sudan. Plans for a medical clinic and education center have already been drawn up and discussed. As well as this ambitious goal, William Deng also works with Homes Are Possible, Inc (HAPI) and New Beginnings Center as a Youth Mentor.
Deng will attend the 2018 Clinton Foundation & Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting in Chicago as a Commitment-Maker. Here he will learn skills, connections, and models for greater success in turning the Malaria Clinic Dream into a Reality!
William Deng, CEO of the foundation said this about the special invitation, "The Clinton Foundation has created so much opportunity while opening many doors for us! And while the Clinton Foundation isn’t funding the Deng-Foundation’s Medical Clinic quite yet, (Fingers crossed!) they’ve been incredibly gracious in providing us such opportunities!"
The 2018 Clinton Foundation & Clinton Global Initiative have been key players in our development so far. We’re honored to work with an organization centered around improving the Earth through Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health, which is the Clinton’s Mission.
The Deng Foundation will be one of the Representatives in the categories of Education and Public Health.
"I would like to give many thanks to Clinton Foundation and CGIU Community for this great opportunity and I hope it will open more doors!!” says William.
